It can even become a growth point that drives product sales.  1 The main factors that cause forklift corrosion   The main factors that cause forklift corrosion are environmental factors and its own structural factors.   Forklifts can be divided into internal combustion forklifts and battery electric forklifts. Most internal combustion forklifts are used in ports, docks and industrial and mining sites, and the use environment is relatively harsh, especially in the port and chemical industry. The combined effects of subtropical, humid tropical, marine climate and industrial exhaust gas and dust cause corrosion and damage to forklift parts. , The corrosion is more serious; while the battery forklifts are mostly used in warehouses and other indoor places, the environment changes little, and the corrosion caused by environmental factors is relatively light. The corrosive environment generated inside the forklift, such as the high temperature generated by the engine and the combustion exhaust gas containing sulfur and chloride ions, the acid mist and liquid leakage generated by the battery, the stress generated by vibration and impact during work, and the local damage caused by friction and collision are also caused by The main cause of corrosion damage to forklift parts.   The main mechanism of metal corrosion is the conversion of the original metal into metal oxides, causing the structural parts or components to be rusted, damaged or even irreparable and scrapped. The aging of non-metallic materials such as paint, rubber, and glass fiber reinforced plastics is mainly caused by physical and chemical changes such as cracking, degradation, and dissolution of the polymer structure of the material after the comprehensive effects of the environment, resulting in a decrease in appearance and performance. It can be seen that the design structure, applied materials, technology and protective measures of the forklift directly determine the corrosion resistance of the forklift.  2 The application status of corrosion resistance and anti-corrosion technology of domestic forklifts  The protection design, application of anti-corrosion technology and technological level of domestic forklifts are relatively low. The fullness, flatness, gloss and adhesion of the paint layer of most domestic forklifts are low; the quality of the coating and conversion film is not good, especially the parts in the heavy corrosive environment (acid fog, high temperature, etc.) have poor corrosion resistance. It is directly manifested in the appearance of rust stains, blistering, peeling, discoloration, loss of gloss of the paint layer, reduced cleanliness of the fuel tank, and deformation of non-metallic parts after a period of use. Compared with brand forklifts manufactured by foreign or domestic joint ventures, the shape, materials and processes of domestic forklifts directly affect the grade of the product.   2.1 Avoid corrosion from the forklift structure design   (1) Consider preventing the accumulation of corrosive media in the overall layout of the forklift. Try to avoid enclosed areas, or keep the closed system well ventilated and drained, such as considering the ventilation and heat dissipation of the internal combustion forklift truck. The exhaust gas produced by the engine is discharged from the lower part of the counterweight as much as possible or discharged upward from the upper part of the counterweight through purification and cooling. For battery forklifts, such as forward-moving forklifts, ventilation windows can be opened to keep the motor cooling and ventilating. The bottom of the battery box has a liquid leakage hole and an accumulator.   (2) Pay attention to the protection of exposed parts. Electrical components and connectors are arranged on the inner side, or a protective cover is added. Dust cover shall be provided on the exposed parts of the vehicle that are easy to be corroded and easy to enter water. For example, the exposed section of the piston rod of the tilting hydraulic cylinder and the steering hydraulic cylinder is provided with a dust cover; and a number of exposed process holes or functional holes on the vehicle body are provided with waterproof plugs.   (3) Considering its uniform corrosion when designing parts, choose one or several combined anti-corrosion methods. Commonly used protection methods for forklifts include coating, electroplating, conversion film, and anti-rust oil and grease. Different processes have different corrosion resistance. For example, in Hangzhou H series forklifts, the surfaces of many pins, shafts, bolts, and brackets used to be blackened, and many exposed processing surfaces such as hydraulic cylinder heads were not treated, which made the forklifts rust before they left the factory. By improving the surface treatment requirements, improving the rationality of part design, and effectively standardizing the surface treatment process, it has promoted the improvement of product appearance quality and corrosion resistance.  The use of coatings for anticorrosion, the characteristics and quality indicators of the paint coating must be clarified.
