Components prone to problems in pallet jacks

The accessories in the pallet truck mainly include: handles, oil cylinders, valve bodies, wheel frames, push rods, brackets, oil seals, axles, bearings, wheels, etc. The parts that often have problems are mainly as follows.

Pallet Jack Oil Pump: The oil pump is a critical component of any pallet jack. Once there is a problem with the oil pump, it means that the pallet jack is declared to stop working. No matter how good the other parts are, they are useless. Work is out of the question. Oil pumps are made up of many parts. Among them, accessories such as dust-proof rings, O-rings, and steel balls are most prone to problems. The quick and easy solution is to replace these accessories. 2. Oil cylinder: The oil cylinder plays a vital role in the entire lifting process of the pallet truck, and is also used to realize the lifting of the goods.

If the fork of the pallet truck cannot be lowered or raised, the reasons are: 1. The piston rod and oil cylinder may be damaged due to overload or unbalanced load during loading; 2. The piston rod is exposed and rusted for a long time, which hinders the smooth movement of the piston; 3. 1. The position of the adjustment nut and the hexagon nut is wrong; at this time, replace the piston rod or cylinder according to the judgment, and lower the fork of the manual forklift to the lowest level when not in use, and re-adjust the nut.

Pallet truck oil seal: The oil seal is a key component between the piston rod and the cylinder barrel of the oil cylinder, and is generally equipped with an imported sealing ring. The main reason is that it has good sealing performance, wear resistance and long service life. And 70% of the oil leakage of the oil cylinder occurs on the oil seal. If oil leakage is found in the oil cylinder, it should be checked in time. If the sealing ring is aged or damaged, replace it with a high-quality sealing ring.

Pallet jack wheels: Wheels are a type of wear and tear over time. There are many types of pallet truck wheels, such as nylon wheels, PU wheels, polyurethane coated nylon, rubber wheels, bakelite and so on. Most trucks are equipped with nylon wheels because they are common in the market and cheap, but they are less abrasive and noisy when walking. If the transport wheel is worn to a certain extent, please replace it in time, the customer chooses the expensive one or the cheap one. The one-piece wheel frame is equipped with double front wheels, which has a strong bearing capacity; the front and rear guide wheels are installed to protect the front wheels from impact and prolong the service life of the wheels. The standard configuration of the handling wheels is polyurethane wheels. Nylon and rubber wheels are optional. Nylon wheel features: low friction coefficient, large pulling noise, ground wear. Features of polyurethane wheels: low friction coefficient, low sound when pulling, and no damage to the ground. Features of rubber wheels: no damage to the ground, low sound when pulling, poor carrying capacity, not suitable for use when it exceeds 2.5 tons.

Pallet jack lever frame: The lever frame is a key part connecting the oil pump and the push rod. The lifting support of the hydraulic cylinder, the handling and loading of goods are all supported and balanced by the lever frame. Due to the possible occurrence of overload, unbalanced load, etc., the lever frame is often deformed or broken. It must be that the forklift is not operating normally. Find the forklift manufacturer or find a replacement lever frame in the nearest market.
