What are the specification requirements for the electric pallet truck charging room?

The electric pallet truck has many maintenance and driving operation specifications, so are there any special requirements for its parking and charging environment? First of all, before the electric pallet truck is parked, lower the forks to the lowest level, place the pallet truck neatly, stop and disconnect the power supply of the whole vehicle.

Secondly, when the electric pallet truck is charging, the connection between the working system of the pallet truck and the battery should be disconnected first. Then connect the battery to the charger, then connect the charger to the power outlet, and turn on the charger.

So what are the requirements for the charging room of the electric pallet truck?

1. The charging room of the electric pallet truck should be selected in a place not exposed to direct sunlight, avoid high temperature, low temperature and places susceptible to vibration, and should not be built upstairs.

2. The charging room of the electric pallet truck should be equipped with a tight, outward-opening door.

3. The charging room should be well ventilated and dry. Two coats of acid-resistant paint are to be applied to the ventilators provided.

4. The indoor floor is covered with acid-resistant asphalt, and the surrounding walls are painted with acid-resistant paint. The ground should be slightly inclined, and there should be shallow drainage ditches and water outlets for scouring.

5. Explosion-proof bulbs should be installed in the interior of the electric pallet truck. Electrical switches should be installed outdoors to avoid fire and explosion caused by sparks generated when switching.

6. The room should be equipped with fire-fighting equipment, such as carbon tetrachloride fire extinguisher, or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher.

7. It is strictly forbidden to store all burning items in the charging room, and there are warning signs such as 'No fireworks' and 'No idlers' in conspicuous places.

8. Do not weld or repair batteries of electric pallet trucks indoors.

9. The acid battery and the alkaline battery of the electric pallet truck should not be in the same charging room, because the acid mist is easy to corrode the alkaline battery.

10. There should be an interval between the battery packs charged indoors, and it should be more than 0.8m away from the wall.

11. The faucets and sinks should be arranged indoors to prevent flushing when the electrolyte splashes on the skin during charging.
