Adjustment of fork wheel hub bearings and replacement of lubricating oil

1. Replacement of lubricating oil for wheel hub bearing 1) Remove the wheel and hub, take out the oil seal and inner bearing, scrape off the grease on the hub and journal, wipe it with oil cloth, thoroughly clean the tapered roller bearing, and blow it with compressed air net.　　2) Fill the tapered roller bearing with grease, and apply a layer of grease to the hub to prevent rust, and then reinstall the inner bearing and oil seal.　　3) After lubrication, install and adjust the wheel hub in the reverse order of disassembly, and then install the wheel. Since the thread directions of the tire bolts are opposite, the left and right wheels cannot be installed wrongly. 2. Adjustment of the wheel hub bearing The adjustment method of the front and rear wheel hub bearings is the same as the technical requirements. Take the front wheel as an example: 　　 1) Put the front wheel hub back on the steering knuckle shaft, put on the outer bearing and screw on the high-speed nut, and then rotate the wheel. On one side, tighten the adjusting nut with a hub spanner until the wheel can stop rotating immediately after letting go, and then retract the adjusting nut 1/8~1/5 circle to make it rotate freely without axial clearance. It feels right.　　 2) After adjustment, install the lock washer and lock plate back, tighten the fixing nut, lock it with the lock plate, and finally reinstall the bearing cap or the flange of the axle shaft.　　3) After adjusting the wheel hub bearing, during the inspection in the middle of the driving operation, touching the wheel hub with your hand should not feel hot.
