Common faults of electric pallet trucks

As a new type of electric logistics handling equipment, all-electric pallet trucks are very popular in the market. Some failures will occur during the use of electric pallet trucks. How should we solve them?

01. Trembling occurs when the electric pallet truck is lifted

1. There is air in the lifting cylinder, which can be solved by multiple loads and lifting method exhaust,

2. The hydraulic system leaks oil, repair and replace the oil seal and hydraulic cylinder

02. The electric pallet truck automatically descends when it has a load

1. There is oil leakage in the oil pipe or oil circuit joint, and the seal can be replaced.

2. Electromagnetic, manual reversing valves, and one-way valves are stuck with dirt or the sealing ring is worn, resulting in internal leakage. Treatment method: Clean the valve group and replace the seals.

03. The lifting speed of the electric pallet truck is too slow or cannot be lifted

1. The oil tank is short of oil, and hydraulic oil needs to be replenished or completely replaced.

2. The pressure of the overflow valve is insufficient, readjust.

3. The oil pump is excessively worn, causing internal leakage and needs to be replaced.

4. Electromagnetic, manual reversing valves, check valves, safety valves are worn or the seals are worn and aging, and need to be updated.

5. If the hydraulic oil temperature is too high for a long time, the hydraulic oil will deteriorate and its viscosity will drop, resulting in leakage. Replace the hydraulic oil.

04. The driving wheel makes abnormal noise when the electric pallet truck is walking

1. The lubricating oil is mixed with hard debris, and the lubricating oil is renewed

2. Car bearings are excessively worn or damaged and need to be replaced.

05. Electric pallet truck brake failure

1. The control circuit is not disconnected, check the control system.

2. Brake friction lining is worn out, replace it.

06. The electric pallet truck does not move at all

1. Check whether the electric door lock is open or broken.

2 Whether the battery is charged, the battery is low, and the battery should be supplemented

07. The electric pallet truck cannot move forward or backward

1. The battery power is low, please add power

2 The travel control micro switch is loose, and the screw is tightened.

3. DC contactor failure, repair and replace.

4. The electric control board is damaged, repair and replace.

5. The drive motor is faulty, check and repair.

6. The brake is locked, and the distance between the brake pads of the driving wheel is adjusted.

08. The battery life of the electric pallet truck is short and cannot be charged

1. The battery electrolyte is insufficient, add distilled water or lead-acid water

2 The battery is aging, replace it with a new one

3 The power socket is in poor contact, and the contact surface should be repaired.

4. The battery is seriously collapsed or damaged, replace the unified battery

09. Electric pallet truck charger does not work

1 There is no display on the charger, and the capacitor breaker is blown

2. The power light of the charger is on, the internal capacitor breaker is open circuit or resistive circuit breaker, and the rectifier tube is damaged.

Electric pallet trucks should be maintained frequently, especially when they are put on hold after use, regular maintenance is required to prevent corrosion of some mechanical parts.
