1. Common sense of initial charging Before using all batteries, first unscrew the water filling cap and remove the small hole seal on the cap to keep the small hole unblocked. The temperature of the electrolyte cooled by adding water should not be lower than 21 degrees or higher than 32 degrees. The electrolyte is made of sulfuric acid and distilled water (Table 3). The sulfuric acid uses special sulfuric acid for storage batteries (Ministry Standard 1008-59). It is strictly forbidden to prepare electrolyte with other sulfuric acid and water. The mixing ratio of pure sulfuric acid and distilled water can refer to the following data, but it is mainly measured by hydrometer. The height of the electrolyte level should be 15-20 mm on the protective plate, and the QA dry-charged battery can be used two hours after adding the electrolyte. If it takes a short time or is left unused within 12 hours, 5% of the available capacity can be charged for 3-4 hours, which is more beneficial to the performance of the battery. After adding electrolyte to the Q-type ordinary battery, it needs to stand for 3-4 hours to make the temperature drop by 30-35 degrees. If it can be forced to cool down in the hot summer season, the standing time is not allowed to exceed 12 hours. The charging current and the charged power are to make the active material on the new battery plate fully contact the current to reach the standard capacity. Therefore, after the new battery is charged and discharged for more than three times, the discharge current is generally 1/10 of the 10-hour capacity of the battery. The standard capacity can only be reached after three repeated charging and discharging. If the initial charge is insufficient, the permanent capacity of the battery will be insufficient, which will affect the battery performance and shorten the battery life. After the initial charge starts, it shall not be terminated within 12 hours. The temperature, specific gravity, voltage, etc. of the electro-hydraulic shall be measured every 0.5-1 hour, and records shall be made. 2. Normal charging of the battery. The current value of the normal charging of the battery is charged into the battery. During the charging, the electro-pallet temperature should not exceed 45 degrees. Otherwise, the charging current should be reduced, the temperature should be artificially cooled, or the charging should be suspended. It shall not be terminated within 2 hours, and it is necessary to avoid suspension of charging as much as possible. 3. Judgment of the full charge limit of the battery In the charging state, the specific gravity of the electro-pallet and the terminal voltage of the battery remain stable for more than three hours (the specific gravity is about 0.10 than the original). Bubbles are evenly generated on the upper and lower plates, and the electro-pallet is milky white and clear. After stopping the charging for 1 hour, it will quickly and violently when recharging with the standard capacity of 0.1 current value. 4. Judgment of battery discharge termination The discharge termination voltage reaches the specified value, and the electrolyte proportion is less than 1:15. 5. Battery maintenance (1) After the battery discharge is terminated, it should be charged immediately, and it shall not exceed 24 hours at most. (2) It is strictly prohibited to over-discharge or over-charge the battery. (3) The surface of the storage battery should be kept clean, and the pile head connected with the wire metal sheet should be coated with a layer of petroleum jelly or butter. (4) The air cover of the battery should be opened when charging. Hydrogen and oxygen gas escape during the charging process. No fire is allowed to approach, and the air cap should be screwed on in time after charging. (5) When the electro-hydraulic fluid is reduced due to the evaporation of water during use, it should be supplemented with distilled water to maintain the liquid surface temperature. (6) After the battery is discharged, it should be charged in the shortest time to avoid sulfation of the plate and loss.
