1. Purpose

In order to strengthen the safety of electric forklift operation, this safety regulation is formulated.

2. Personnel

2.1 Personnel driving electric forklifts must undergo professional training, pass the assessment of the safety production supervision department, obtain a special operation certificate, and be allowed to drive after the company’s consent. For unlicensed operation, you must carefully study and strictly abide by the operating procedures, and be familiar with the performance of the vehicle and the road conditions in the operating area.

3. Startup

3.1 Before starting the vehicle, check the starting, steering signal, battery circuit, operation, braking performance, forks, and tires to make them in good condition.

4. Driving

4.1 When the electric forklift is running, it is strictly forbidden to stand on the fork. When it is really necessary for the electric forklift to assist the staff to work, it should be equipped with a special basket for the electric forklift, and the fork should be fork into the special fixed groove under the basket.

4.2.1 If the nature of high-altitude work is basically non-hazardous work such as inventory, labeling, etc., the driver should not leave the electric forklift in order to provide timely assistance;

4.4.1 When driving, the height from the bottom of the fork to the ground should be maintained at 150-400mm, the mast must be tilted backwards, and when there are people in front, the whistle must be sounded to inform.

4.4.2 Do not raise the forks too high when driving; pay attention to whether there are obstacles or scratches in the sky when entering and leaving the work site or on the way; when driving with a load, the forks are not allowed to raise too much Too high will affect the stability of the forklift.

4.4.3 It is strictly forbidden to turn off the forklift when driving downhill, and it is forbidden to brake suddenly during driving without special circumstances.

4.5 After unloading, the fork should be lowered to the normal driving position before driving.

4.6 When turning, if there are pedestrians or vehicles nearby, signal to travel should be given first. High-speed sharp turns are prohibited. High-speed sharp turns will cause the vehicle to lose lateral stability and tip over. 4.7.1 When the forklift is in operation, it must abide by the traffic rules in the factory, and it must keep a certain safe distance from the vehicle in front. When passing the workshop door or intersection, it should be slow, watch twice, and pass three times; when stepping on and releasing the accelerator pedal It should be lightly stepped on and lifted, and should not be stepped on and off or continuously shaken;

4.8 The height of the load must not obscure the driver's sight. When special circumstances affect the forward line of sight, drive at a low speed when reversing.

4.9.1 It is forbidden to turn on a ramp, or to lift or lean forward during driving.

4.9.2 The safe driving speed of the forklift in the factory area is 5 km/h, and it must be driven safely at a low speed when entering the production workshop area.

4.9.3 When lifting or driving a forklift, it is forbidden to stand on the forks to hold items and balance them.

4.9.4 If problems are discovered, they should be repaired and reported in time, and they will never work with diseases and conceal them.

5. Operation

5.1 It is strictly forbidden to drive with overload or partial load. Forklift trucks must be operated smoothly and accurately. Sudden braking is forbidden, a sharp turn and a steady start must be made. The forklift must be slowed down before turning, and the normal driving speed must not be too fast, and brake and stop smoothly.

5.9 Electric forklifts are not allowed to tow other vehicles. If electric forklifts are required to tow, the equipment manager must agree.

6. Parking

6.1 Try to avoid stopping on a slope. If it is unavoidable, you should take other reliable objects to plug the wheel to tighten the handbrake and turn it off. When parking, the fork should be lowered to the bottom position, the brake should be tightened, and the circuit should be cut off.

7.1 Regularly check the battery electrolyte, and it is prohibited to use open flame lighting to check the battery electrolyte

7.2 When the power supply is insufficient (the forklift voltmeter indicates less than 40V), it is forbidden to continue to use it with cargo At this time, the truck should be empty to the charger position to charge the forklift.

7.3 When charging, choose the charger that matches the electric pallet truck, handle it gently, first disconnect the forklift working system from the battery, then connect the battery to the charger, and then connect the charger With the power outlet, turn on the charger.

7.4 After charging, you should turn off the power first, then pull out the charger plug, and hang the charger. It is strictly forbidden to place it on the ground.

8. Maintenance

8.1 If an electric pallet truck is found to be abnormal, it should be stopped for inspection immediately.

8.2 It is strictly forbidden to repair, install and disassemble parts when the electric pallet truck is started. Do not repair the electric forklift and install or disassemble parts by yourself.

8.3 Carry out maintenance in strict accordance with the company's electric forklift maintenance and repair procedures. When there is a problem, notify the professional and technical personnel for repair.
