How to use and maintain lithium batteries correctly

1. Lithium batteries should be stored in a cool, dry and safe environment. It can be stored in a clean, dry and ventilated environment with a temperature of -5 ~ 35°C and a relative humidity not greater than 75%. Note that storing the battery in a hot environment will inevitably cause corresponding damage to the quality of the battery.

2. Avoid placing lithium batteries near heat sources, open flames, flammable and explosive gases and liquids, which may cause battery leakage, heat generation, smoke, fire and explosion.

3. If the lithium battery needs to be stored for a long time (more than one month), the battery capacity should be kept at 30% ~ 50% of the nominal capacity. During storage, the battery should be charged 1-2 hours per month.

4. Batteries should be packed in boxes for transportation. During transportation, it should be prevented from severe vibration, impact or extrusion, and should be protected from sun and rain. Vehicles, trains, ships, planes and other vehicles can be used for transportation.

5. During the storage of lithium batteries, metal objects should be avoided from entering the battery box, which may cause battery leakage, heat generation, smoke, fire and explosion.

6. If the lithium battery is used in an environment higher than the specified operating temperature, that is, higher than 35°C, the battery capacity will continue to decrease. If the lithium battery must be charged at this temperature, the damage to the battery will be greater. Therefore, keeping lithium batteries at a suitable operating temperature is a good way to extend the life of lithium batteries.

7. If you want to make full use of the efficiency of lithium-ion batteries, you need to use them frequently so that the electrons in the lithium-ion batteries are always in a state of flow. If the lithium battery is not used frequently, please remember to complete a charging cycle for the lithium battery every month, and do a charging calibration, that is, deep discharge and deep charge.

8. Shallow discharge and shallow charge are more beneficial to lithium batteries. Only when the power module of the product is calibrated as a lithium battery, deep discharge and deep charge are required. Therefore, products powered by lithium batteries do not have to stick to craftsmanship. Convenience is everything, charge at any time, don't worry about affecting your life.
