Repair and Maintenance of Universal Transmission Device of Internal Combustion Pallet Truck
The universal transmission device of the internal combustion pallet truck is composed of a universal joint fork, a cross shaft assembly, etc., and its function is to transmit the power of the transmission to the final reducer. The drive shaft transmits large torque, high speed and heavy work. Therefore, although its structure is not complicated, its technical requirements are very high. Otherwise, vibration, noise, shedding and broken shaft will occur. Therefore, in the use of internal combustion pallet trucks, the maintenance of the transmission shaft should be done carefully, and problems must be dealt with in time.
During the driving of the internal combustion pallet truck, the transmission shaft must bear a large torque and impact load, and at the same time rotate at a high speed, accompanied by continuous vibration, its lubrication conditions are poor, so it is prone to wear, deformation and damage, which will lead to malfunction and failure. Faults such as abnormal noise and shaking occur. When the internal combustion pallet truck starts, if the body shakes, it will be accompanied by a slight impact sound; a periodic sound can be heard from the chassis during driving, and the faster the speed, the louder the sound. In severe cases, the cab vibrates, and the hands feel numb when holding the steering wheel. The reasons are: the cross shaft of the universal joint and the needle roller are worn loose or the needle is broken; the fixing screws of each connecting part are loose. When encountering the above faults, you can go to the bottom of the car to check whether the connecting screws are loose, and shake the transmission shaft by hand to detect the worn parts; set up the rear wheel and turn it in gear to observe the vibration and abnormal noise of the transmission shaft ; You can also use a dial indicator to detect the deformation of the drive shaft, and after finding out the cause, repair it respectively.
During maintenance, add lubricating grease to the cross bearing of the internal combustion pallet truck. When checking whether the cross bearing is loose, put the transmission in neutral, release the parking brake, hold the drive shaft tube tightly with both hands, and turn it sharply left and right. There should be no obvious looseness, and it should be dismantled and repaired if necessary.
When maintaining the drive shaft of an internal combustion pallet truck, check whether the fasteners are fixed firmly, the appearance and curvature of the drive shaft, and repair if necessary. Before the drive shaft is repaired and assembled, all parts must be cleaned, especially the oil channel, journal and needle bearing of the cross shaft, which should be cleaned with clean kerosene and dried with compressed air. Apply lubricating grease to the mating surface, and reassemble after aligning the marks. After the universal joint is reassembled, it should rotate flexibly without obvious gaps, and there should be no card issue.
