Manufacturers of electric pallet trucks generally inform the electric pallet truck charger maintenance method when the electric pallet truck leaves the factory. If there is a fault, then we can perform a simple troubleshooting first.

1. Common faults and maintenance methods of electric pallet truck chargers

1. The power indicator light is off, and the charging indicator light is off.

Maintenance method: Check whether the input power plug of the electric pallet truck charger is connected to the mains. You can test by plugging the input plug of the pallet jack charger into a normal power outlet. If the situation persists, open the charger case and look inside the machine. Whether the fuse is broken, if not, first check whether the power input line is in good condition. After troubleshooting the power input line of the electric pallet truck, check whether the components on the circuit board near the high-voltage area are welded and whether the fuse holder is in poor contact. If the phenomenon occurs, focus on checking whether the transformer T1, transistors V1, V2, etc. have virtual welding. In addition, the open circuit of R5 or R6 can also cause the above fault. If the fuse inside the machine is broken, do not replace the high-ampere fuse tube (the fuse tube of the charger is generally 2A), and focus on checking the damage of D1-D4, V1, V2, R4, R7, D15, D21. Damaged, you can choose the same model to replace. Note that when the above components are damaged, one or two of them may be damaged at the same time, and sometimes more than one may be damaged at the same time. During maintenance, you need to check and replace these parts one by one before powering up the electric pallet jack charger.

2. The charger of the electric pallet truck generates a lot of heat and is accompanied by abnormal noise.

Maintenance method: The cause of the failure is that the output stage vibration absorbing resistors R31 and C17 are damaged. In addition, C12 open circuit or virtual welding can also cause the above faults.

3. The charger of the electric pallet truck has abnormal noise when it is working, and the battery cannot be charged.

Maintenance method: Check whether C8 on the circuit board is soldered or damaged. Usually replacing the C8 can solve this problem.
