During the use of electric pallet trucks, special attention should be paid to timely charging of batteries and correct maintenance of batteries. When charging the battery, pay attention to the method, not only to make the battery fully charged, but also not to cause the battery to be overcharged.

In the operation of electric vehicles, try not to use long-distance acceleration as much as possible. When the vehicle starts and the speed increases, hold the accelerator pedal firmly. If the road conditions are good, the vehicle will continue to accelerate. When the vehicle needs to decelerate, relax the accelerator pedal and lightly step on the brake pedal, so that the energy of deceleration can be fully utilized. If the vehicle has a regenerative braking function, the kinetic energy during deceleration can be recovered. When the vehicle is going down the slope, do not disconnect the circuit that drives the motor, gently step on the brake pedal to make the vehicle run in a regenerative braking state, and use the kinetic energy of the vehicle to reduce the energy consumption of the battery.

Precautions for the use of electric pallet truck batteries

1. The battery will produce hydrogen gas, which may cause an explosion. It is strictly forbidden to smoke near the battery and any flames are strictly prohibited. or sparks. When storing or charging the battery, it must be in a well-ventilated place, but not in the air outlet to avoid corrosion caused by acid mist.

2. The battery fluid contains corrosive liquid, which may cause serious burns. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothes. In the unfortunate event of an accident, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.

3. When checking or maintaining the battery, please use rubber gloves to avoid electric shock.

4. The battery surface or connection must be kept clean. Dust, impurities, etc. must be cleaned with a damp cloth, otherwise it will leak electricity or even cause a fire.

5. When cleaning the battery, be sure to use a damp cloth, not a dry cloth.

6. Do not use tools to connect the positive and negative electrodes of the battery.

7. The temperature of the electrolyte should not exceed 50°C when charging, so as to avoid damage caused by the overflow of the electrolyte, especially during the daytime in summer.

8. Before unplugging the battery tap, in order to avoid sparks, be sure to turn off the switch of the charger.

9. The electrolyte level should not be lower than the Z lower limit, otherwise the battery will be easy to heat and burn out.

10. Keep away from children.

When the electric pallet truck is running, do not mistake the 'forward, reverse' direction switch as a steering switch. Do not press the brake pedal all the way unless you need to decelerate sharply. During the operation of the vehicle, when it is found that the battery power is insufficient (which can be obtained through the electricity meter, the power loss indicator light and other alarm devices), the battery should be charged as soon as possible to prevent the battery from being over-discharged.
